Selection Procedure for admission:
Advertisements for admission to B.Ed Course offered by Salt Christian College of Teacher Education is carried out in local dailies in the month of April / May. Prospectus and application form can be obtained from the college office on payment of requisite fees.

Selection of candidates for admission is on the basis of marks obtained at the degree level/ master level, written test and interview. Students should be prepared to get enrolled within five days of selection failing which their selection will be cancelled & candidates from the waiting list will be accommodated in their place.

Accommodation :
Hostel accommodation is available both for gents and ladies. Teacher- candidates coming from out side are given preferential allotment.

Admission Criteria :

Candidates applying for admission to regular Two year B.Ed course offered by the institution must have completed three year degree course in any stream from any recognized university in India.
Candidates must have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate at degree or masters level.
The course of study at degree level must cover at least two school teaching subjects.
All candidates need to obtain eligibility certificates from Nagaland University while applying for admission.
Candidates who have obtained degree from other universities outside Nagaland must produce their original Migration certificates at the time of admission.
The intake capacity of the B.Ed course is 100 students ie two basic units per batch as permitted by National Council for Teacher Education New Delhi and Eastern Regional Committee Bhubaneswar.
Admission Pre – Requisites :
Candidates applying for admission to B.Ed. Course offered by the Institution must be graduates from any recognized University in India with atleast forty five 45% for SC/ST and 50% for General in aggregate at the graduation level. The course of study at the degree must cover atleast two school teaching subjects. All candidates need to obtain Eligibility Certificates from Nagaland University while applying for admission.
